Curried Alaskan Seafood Bake: A Fine Meal for a Winter’s Night
If there is one thing that we know here at Tanner’s Fresh Fish Processing, it’s that Alaskan seafood may be used to make healthy, mouth-watering meals year round. One comforting, filling dish that we would suggest serving during the winter months is our curried Alaskan seafood bake. It’s made with a trio of the freshest, most flavorful seafood around and is ready to serve in 40 minutes. To successfully make 6 servings of Tanner’s Curried Alaskan Seafood Bake, you’ll need the following items:
Begin assembling the curried Alaskan seafood bake by sauteing the onions, curry powder and salt into three tablespoons of unsalted butter. One the onions are soft, add the flour and milk to make a curry flavored roux. Once the roux has thickened, remove it from the stove top. Continue by stirring the sour cream, Tanner’s Alaskan seafood and macaroni into curry mixture.
Next, spoon the Alaskan Seafood mixture into a lightly greased, 2-quart casserole dish. Spread the Alaskan Seafood mixture out so it fills the dish evenly. When you are finished, melt the remaining tablespoon of butter and add it to the crushed crackers.
Once the crackers have been covered with butter, sprinkle them over top of the curried Alaskan seafood. Afterward, place the curried Alaskan seafood casserole into a pre-heated, 350 degree Fahrenheit oven for roughly 25 to 30 minutes. When the curried Alaskan seafood casserole has finished cooking, serve it with the winter vegetable of your choice, buttered rolls and white wine.
