I have been a Halibut fan FOREVER. I am soooo picky when it comes to fish! Fresh caught trout, orange roughy, Fresh caught catfish, fresh frozen Mahi Mahi (tasted fresh in Hawaii the first time) and HAILBUT, my #1 FAVORITE! Considered moving to Alaska because of HALIBUT. Seriously. 3 times per week minimum. The only steak I eat is Filet Mignon. That is how picky I am.
You need to order Halibut from these people. My Mom ordered me a slab of Halibut from another vendor for my bday. NOPE. Don't do it. I live in rural TN now, instead of the west coast. Want FRESH frozen Halibut? Get it from these folks. It doesn't get any better. The "chunks" are fine by me! If they have it on sale and I'm almost out... I'm on it. Yes it's pricey. But really good, not fishy fish is yummy and good for you. I even get my hubby to eat this - and he is a ribeye and potatoes guy. Sauted, grilled, deep fried, baked. THE BEST. Especially from this vendor. I dare you to say I'm wrong. All orders were still frozen when received. Kinda poor right now thanks to the economy. Doesn't matter. Still gotta have it!

I received my shipment in time and it was packed well. The packages of halibut pieces are different sizes just like they stated.
The fish has a great taste, no fishy smell after thawed. So you k ow it was frozen when it was caught just like they stated.
I highly recommend buying from this company!!

I bought the Halibut chunks based on reviews and the uncertainty of the first time order. I thought I was going to get small chunks as labeled; instead, I received large-sized pieces of super meaty and pearly fish that I used for a soup that came out just magnificent. Ordering again today!
