King Crab Claws Only

Since we have lived in the South we miss the once normal meals that were a vital part of our diet during all of the years that we lived in Alaska. It was taken for granted that we had so much amazing seafood for any everyday meal. Those once common meals are now occasional indulgent meals. Being able to experience eating local fresh caught seafood makes you extremely selective about the sourcing and handling.

We recently had some of the best King crab for dinner. A huge shout out to Tanners Alaskan Seafood. The customer service, packaging and quality we received will make this our go-to when we need a restock.

I make all our traditional recipes and create new recipes to share on my website. This meal was a joy to put together and it is an extremely simple meal to make. Scratch made rice pilaf takes about 30 minutes. You can steam the crab, prep your salad, and make homemade citrus vinaigrette while the rice is cooking. Adding some lemon wedges and hot warmed butter to the table setting makes it feel like white cloth dining. Oh so delicious!!
